KITHUL TREE
The kithul plant, botanically known as "Caryota urens", is also known as "Fish tail palm" in English. The Kitul tree, which is very similar to the coconut tree, belongs to the genus of coconut, palm, as well as palm.
A well grown Kitul tree grows to a height of 40 to 50 feet. Kitul grows best in areas with humid climates. Like the coconut tree, the kithul tree is very useful to human beings.
The evolving component of a kithul tree is the kithul flower. It takes about 10 years for a kithul tree to reach maturity. The flowers here appear to hang from the top to the bottom.
It is not possible to get the oil from every flower that grows on a tree. The oil thus obtained is used to make kithul honey, kithul jaggery and toddy products.
